Ximo Roca designs Hug WOOD as a continuation of the HUG collection of upholstered chairs, a collection based on two fundamental conceptual axes: on the one hand, the union of elements; on the other, stylistic pragmatism. A collection that was born to be upholstered and that grows with the version of shell and seat in wood with different stratified finishes.
Suggestive, sustainable and contemporary, Hug WOOD offers a range of fixed models, with or without arms. The metal elements are finished in epoxy paint in the full range of colours in the sample collection. The wood used is FSC certified and comes from sustainably managed forests. The space is different with Hug, using the mix and match of its models. Chairs and stools with wooden seats with the capacity to generate harmony and functionality in any project.
The clean lines of the chair, with or without armrests, enrich the essential structure of the painted steel tube and combine perfectly with the metallic and stratified finishes of the brand’s tables: WIDE, ODEI, COMTE or CUA.
Designed to be as light as they are solid, HUG stools can be stacked completely vertically, making them easy to store and functional. The three heights in which the stool is offered harmonise and dress up any space. With upholstered seat or in wood laminate for this HUG WOOD collection.
The option of chairs with flat wooden armrests in different finishes gives personality and unique life to the collection. An eco-designed collection and winner of the 2018 GOOD DESIGN award.
